The Metro East Chamber of Commerce is a voluntary membership-driven organization serving the long-term interests of the Metro East area through active and effective involvement in matters of economic development, educational excellence and civic government. To this end the Chamber serves, assists and represents its members and the business community by:

• Promoting a better understanding of your Chamber Benefits
• Coordinating the efforts of commerce, industry, and the professions in maintaining and strengthening a sound and healthy business climate.
• Sponsoring aggressive programs of action to stimulate activities that will provide for full development and employment of our human economic resources.
• Providing creative leadership and effective coordination of all interested parties in solving community problems and in initiating constructive community action.
• Creating a broad understanding and appreciation of the great opportunities in the Metro East area and promoting the advantages and assets of our communities, which will result in a healthy economic environment within the area, in the state, and in the nation.
