In past years, the MECC has held an “Annual Grub Crawl”. This year the events committee has decided to change this to an “Annual PUB Crawl”. This event is scheduled to take place on Thursday, April 22nd.

The Metro East Chamber of Commerce along with The Chamber Alliance of Macomb County, held an “Economic Forecast Luncheon” on Wednesday, January 20th. Guest speaker Dr. Jim Jacobs, Macomb Community College President; spoke to those who attended and forecasted what lies ahead with our economy!

The Michigan Retailers Association (MRA) has launced its scholarship competition for the 2010-2011 school year. While the exact number of scholarships has not yet been set, they expect to award at least (30) $1,000.00 scholarships. The awards are not based on financial need. Read more »
